Powermat 2010 wireless charging range
Powermat's latest product range has expanded the collection to cover more of the most recent handsets on the market with solutions for iPhone 4 as well as BlackBerry and Nokia.
It develops its existing range - which currently features solutions for older models of the iPhone, BlackBerry and Nokia handsets as well as all-in-one charging options for handheld gaming devices and MP3 players.
Powermat works by adding a specially designed case or backdoor receiver - that replaces your phone's current back battery case - to your handset which can be charged by placing on a magnetised mat. You don't have to plug a cable into the phone, the mat works with the receiver so the only wire is the one that connects the mat to the plug socket.
The iPhone 4 bundle costs around £49.99 and includes a rubber-feel receiver that doubles up as a case and a charging holder.
For the BlackBerry and the Nokia you replace the back of your phone with the Powermat receiver and a mat for charging the device on. This bundle costs around £49.99 as well. The 2010 range now caters for BlackBerry Bold 9700 series, BlackBerry 8520, BlackBerry 9320/30 and Nokia N97.
Powermat has also launched a two-position mat, meaning you can charge two devices at the same time and updated the Home & Office mat which is smaller and more compact and lets you charge three devices at a time
